Super Eagles report for camp in London

The Nigeria national team has reported for duty in London ahead of the friendly matches against Senegal and Burkina Faso on Thursday and next Monday.

The Super Eagles will take on the Lions of Teranga at Barnet’s Hive Stadium before facing the Stallions at the same venue the following week.

The matches are reportedly being used as preparation for June’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Bafana Bafana.

Notable names who are expected to report for the camp under coach Gernot Rohr, include Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho, Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi, Leicester City’s Ahmed Musa and Wilfred Ndidi, Watford’s Isaac Success as well as Wolves’ Carl Ikeme.

Musa is expected to captain the side for the two encounters with regular skipper John Obi Mikel being excused he is acclimatising to his new club Tianjin TEDA in China.
